FIRST SHOW OF 2010!
The Mahavishnu Project will present it's first show of 2010 on March 6th at Regattabar in Boston. The band will perform a "Best of M.O. and The John McLaughlin Songbook" set.

VISHNUFEST 2009!!!
The Mahavishnu Project will
present the 4th Annual VISHNUFEST on
July 7th and 8th at Le Poisson Rouge
in New York City. This year's program
is the most expansive yet, and will
include the unknown WORKS FOR CHOIR
by John McLaughlin (first performance
in over 30 years!) as well as music
from JM's SOLO ALBUMS, a "BEST OF" program,
and a complete performance of VISIONS

MAHAPROJ FEATURED ON NEW GERMAN COMPILATION:
The Mahavishnu Project is featured prominently on the new ESC Records tribute to The Mahavishnu Orchestra titled, "Mahavishnu
Re-Defined".

The Mahavishnu
Project contributes three previously unreleased
tracks, recorded live at VishnuFest 2007. The
double disc includes new versions of "Sanctuary" (performed
by the 11-piece band) and "La Mere de la
Mer"/"Smile of the Beyond" arranged
for string quartet by Gregg Bendian and featuring
vocalist Melissa Stylianou. Also contributing
to the disc are jazz-rock greats Dennis Chambers,
Jim Beard, Billy Cobham, Mitch Forman and many
